Our Team

Abhi Patel, P.T.

Abhi joined the NovaCare Rehabilitation team in 2024, bringing a passion for patient-centered care. She earned her bachelor's degree in physical therapy in India in 2020 and went on to complete her master's degree in exercise science from Long Island University in New York. Abhi specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, with a focus on post-surgical care, gait training, concussion rehabilitation and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and has a particular interest in helping geriatric individuals achieve improved mobility and quality of life. Fluent in English, Hindi and Gujarati, Abhi is committed to creating a welcoming environment for her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Samantha Elder, P.T.A

Samantha has been a dedicated member of the NovaCare Rehabilitation team since 2021, with a primary focus in the outpatient orthopedic setting. She has a strong passion for working with athletes and post-operative patients, helping them regain strength, mobility, and confidence through personalized care and progressive rehabilitation. Samantha earned her bachelor's degree in broadcast communications from Mansfield University, where she was also a member of the women's soccer team. She went on to receive her Physical Therapist Assistant license from Harcum College in 2021. Outside of the center, Samantha remains active in the athletic community. She enjoys coaching and mentoring young soccer players and assists her husband with his sports training facility.

Nirali Shah, P.T.

Nirali has been practicing physical therapy in the United States since 2008, bringing extensive experience across inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics and home health care settings. She specializes in treating patients who benefit from vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management, POTS and AMPS, gait and balance training and sports medicine. Nirali is also a certified ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation clinician and takes pride in supporting patients through their cancer recovery journey. She is passionate about promoting her patients' well-being and empowers them to take an active role in managing their health every day. Fluent in both Gujarati and Hindi, Nirali is able to connect with a diverse range of patients. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling and reading.

Community Involvement

NovaCare Rehabilitation is a proud partner of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, 76ers and Flyers. NovaCare also has collegiate partnerships with multiple universities which boast onsite locations to provide easy access to care for the faculty, students and athletes. These universities include La Salle, Temple and Villanova where we are the official physical therapy and athletic training provider to the student-athletes.
