Marley Chrisman, P.T., DPT, Pelvic Health Therapist
Marley earned her bachelor's degree and doctorate in physical therapy from Duquesne University, where she competed on the women's soccer team. As an athlete, she experienced urinary symptoms that received a quick recommendation for medication. She knew there had to be a better solution.
That led her to the specialty of pelvic floor physical therapy and ultimately shaped the direction of her career. Today, she is dedicated to helping women and men take control of their bladder, bowel and pelvic pain symptoms through conservative, evidence-based care.
Using a combination of exercise, education and hands-on treatment, she empowers her patients to understand their bodies and reclaim their quality of life without relying on surgery or medication as a first step. In addition to treating pelvic floor conditions, Marley has advanced course work in the skilled management and treatment of pre- and post-operative patients, general orthopedics, neurological and more.
