Welcome to NovaCare Rehabilitation's North Philadelphia location on the corner of Broad and Cecil B. Moore in the heart of Temple University Campus and right in front of Broad and Dauphin Orange line subway. We are a large center with flexible schedules.

Our therapy pool at the YMCA is a great alternative for patients with chronic hip or knee arthritis, low back pain and certain post-operative conditions among others. We also offer van service within a 10-mile radius from our center location.

Chandi Thomas, P.T., DPT
Chandi is a dedicated physical therapist with 18 years of experience providing exceptional, evidence-based care. He earned his bachelor's degree from Howard University and his doctorate in physical therapy from Temple University.
Chandi has worked with LaSalle University student athletes and the Philadelphia 76ers, and he specializes in the evaluation and rehabilitation of sports and orthopedic injuries, both pre- and post-surgical.
He treats patients from pediatric to geriatric, and has extensive experience in work-related injury rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.
Chandi believes the earlier rehabilitation and structured exercise begin, the greater the opportunity to build healthy movement patterns and habits that last a lifetime. His approach also emphasizes patient education and compassionate care to promote recovery, performance and lifelong wellness.
Marcus Sistrun, P.T. DPT
Marcus is a patient-focused professional, trained in the rehabilitation of orthopedic conditions and sports injuries. He also has a special interest in treating patients with a sports mindset.
With more than five years of experience at the center, Marcus has developed expertise in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation, helping patients manage dizziness, balance disorders, vertigo and post-concussion symptoms to restore function and improve quality of life.
Marcus earned his bachelor's degree in 2016 from Lincoln University, where he played outfield for the Division II Lions. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy from Temple University in 2021.
Marcus coaches youth baseball, drawing on his lifelong passion for the sport as a way to mentor young athletes.
Robin Varghese , P.T., DPT
Robin is a dedicated and patient-focused physical therapist and assistant center manager with NovaCare Rehabilitation, where he has proudly served for the past eight years.
He earned his doctorate in physical therapy in 2018 from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Robin is committed to delivering evidence-based care tailored to each patient's needs. His clinical interests include post-operative rehabilitation, pediatric therapy and working with athletes to help them safely return to activity.
He values building strong therapeutic relationships and creating a supportive environment that promotes confidence and progress throughout the recovery process. Robin enjoys staying active and participates in a local, recreational basketball league.
Paige McAlister, P.T., DPT
Paige was born and raised in Los Angeles, Calif., where she developed a lifelong passion for movement and performance through softball and volleyball. She earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology from San Jose State University in 2018, followed by her doctorate in physical therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2025.
She has a special interest in treating orthopedic conditions for all ages. Paige's treatment philosophy centers on individualized care, optimizing outcomes and equipping patients with knowledge and confidence to take ownership of their recovery.
Outside the center, Paige likes to spend time with loved ones, explore new restaurants, play volleyball and listen to true crime podcasts.
