Our Team

Katie Tarquinio, DPT, Center Manager

Katie received a bachelor's degree in rehabilitation science with a certificate in pathokinesiology and doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. She has been treating in the outpatient setting with NovaCare since 2011. She is licensed as a direct access physical therapist specializing in treatment of orthopedic and running-related conditions. She has interests in educating patients and the community about physical therapy, health and wellness and promoting safe return to work and sport. She enjoys spending time with family and outdoor recreation.

Linda Fleming, Patient Service Specialist

Linda has been a patient service specialist with NovaCare since 2006. Linda will help you schedule appointments and work with you and your insurance company to verify benefits and obtain authorizations and referrals. Linda enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Success Stories

Jessica Horvath

Jessica Horvath, a dedicated runner for more than 20 years with 20 marathons under her belt, faced a painful setback when hip pain disrupted her passion. After countless doctor visits, urgent care trips and MRIs, Jessica was finally diagnosed with a hip labral tear. Referred by running friends, Jessica turned to us. Having overcome the same injury herself, her physical therapist crafted a customized recovery program focusing on strengthening, mobility and gradually rebuilding miles. Recently, Jessica crossed the finish line of the Chicago Marathon, tears streaming as she celebrated a pain-free run. "It was worth the wait just to be able to see that finish line again and to feel strong and pain-free," Jessica shared. "I just want people to know that you don't have to be afraid to seek help for your injuries and that physical therapists can really change your life for the better."

Dave Detar

Dave Detar, an avid runner, suffered from constant foot, ankle and calf pain. After trying injections from a foot doctor, a chiropractor and physical therapy elsewhere and not finding any relief, he met our NovaCare team at a running event. He started care at our local center with Physical Therapist Kathryn Tarquinio. Katie worked with Dave to find the underlying cause of his pain and developed a personalized treatment program to help him heal.
