Our Team

Michelle Harkness, P.T. Multisite Center Manager

Michelle earned her physical therapy degree from The Ohio State University. She also holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio, where she played basketball. She has worked as a physical therapist for more than 20 years, bringing invaluable experience to her patients with the goal of achieving long-term wellness. She has a passion for outpatient orthopedics as well as treating vestibular disorders, making orthotics, and working in the workers' compensation realm, conducting functional-capacity evaluations and administering work-conditioning programs. Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, gardening and cheering on the Buckeyes.

Mark Hott, PTA

Mark brings energy and a fun environment to patients he treats. He was born and raised in Delaware, Ohio and graduated from Delaware Hayes High School. Mark graduated from Marion Technical College in 2023. He and his partner like to travel and take their dogs on walks. Mark has a passion for getting patients better and promoting wellness for all.

Andrew Baker, P.T., DPT

Andrew has been a physical therapist since 2017. He received his undergraduate degree and doctorate from The University of Findlay. In addition to treating general orthopedics, Andrew has additional training in the treatment of TMJ dysfunction, vestibular disorders, concussion rehabilitation and Parkinson's disease management. Andrew also has experience with treating workers' compensation cases and is trained in performing functional capacity evaluations.

Alyssa Loughman , Patient Service Specialist

Alyssa joined NovaCare Rehabilitation in 2024. She enjoys getting to know patients, cheering them on with their progress and having fun along the way. Alyssa is from Troy, Ohio and graduated high school from Upper Valley Career Center. She earned an associate degree from Edison State Community College. She enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, being with family in Florida, seeing friends and playing with her cats.
