Our Team

Jessica Lahey, P.T., DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT

Jessica has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2014, with 11 years of clinical experience. She graduated from The University of Findlay in 2011 with her doctorate of physical therapy. She has worked in the outpatient setting for the majority of her career and has been recognized as an orthopedic clinical specialist through the American physical therapy association. Jessica specializes in treatment of patients with spine conditions, TMJ dysfunctions, running injuries and sports medicine related injuries. Jessica has completed a manual therapy fellowship through Bellin College and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. She is also trained in dry needling. She and her husband have two young children who keep life entertaining!

Darren Andy Shaeffer, PTA

Andy graduated from Clark State in 2016 with an associate's degree as a physical therapy assistant. He has continued education in instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and cupping techniques. In his free time, Andy enjoys biking and powerlifting.

Jacque Mize, Patient Service Specialist

Jacque is an experienced program coordinator and patient care advocate. In her role as patient service specialist, she enjoys helping patients navigate the administrative aspects of their treatment journey. Beyond the office, Jacque can be found walking, reading, gardening and sewing when she's not enjoying time with her family.

Emily Evans, P.T., DPT

Emily has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2017. She graduated from Chatham University in 2016 with a doctorate of physical therapy. She has continued education in concussion rehabilitation and is certified in dry needling. Emily enjoys working with all patient populations. She likes spending time with friends and family, playing with her dogs and running.
