Our Team

Luke Dinan, P.T., DPT, OCS - Multi-Site Manager

Luke has been the center manager of the NovaCare Rehabilitation team in the Grant Bone and Joint Center for several years, with many years of total clinical experience. He continues to treat patients and specializes in post-operative rehabilitation and conservative management of spine, shoulder and knee pain. He is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist with advanced training in the McKenzie method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy. Luke completed his undergraduate education at the University of Kentucky and received a doctorate in physical therapy from The Ohio State University.

Jim Wilgus, P.T., DPT, OCS

Jim has been a member of the NovaCare Rehabilitation team for 24 years and is located at our Downtown center inside Grant Bone and Joint. He has 27 years of clinical experience, having worked in an orthopedic outpatient setting over the course of his career. Jim specializes in treating patients who have foot and ankle and lower extremity dysfunction, custom foot orthotics, sports medicine, blood flow restriction, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, hands on therapy and functional taping. He is also an American physical therapy association board certified orthopedic specialist. Jim completed his education at Ohio University in 1995 and received a doctorate of physical therapy degree in 2007 from Chatham University.

Lisa Gaier, P.T.

Lisa is a veteran therapist with nearly 20 years of experience, all in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy. She loves treating a variety of patients and diagnoses and is dedicated to modifying treatment plans to be a perfect fit for each patient and their goals. Lisa is certified for dry needling and has taken an extensive amount of continuing education courses over the years, many of which focused on hands-on therapy.

Stephanie McElfresh, P.T., DPT

Stephanie has been a member of the team at Grant Bone and Joint Center since 2018. Stephanie specializes in treating patients with orthopedic and vestibular conditions including post-operative conditions, conservative management of back, neck, knee, hip and ankle pain, balance disorders and dizziness. Stephanie completed her undergraduate education at the University of Dayton and received a doctorate of physical therapy in 2015 from Ohio University. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son, hiking, camping, cycling, traveling and reading.

Jacqueline Chislom, Patient Service Specialist

Jacqueline joined our team in 2023, driven by a passion for helping people achieve their recovery goals. As a patient service specialist, she draws on over 20 years of customer service experience, ensuring patients feel welcomed, informed and supported throughout their rehabilitation journey. Prior to joining our team, Jacqueline thrived in diverse fields, developing strong communication and problem-solving skills that benefit patients today. When not helping patients, Jacqueline enjoys family time and travel, finding inspiration for building meaningful connections in all aspects of her life.

Kiersten Prater, P.T., DPT

Kiersten has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since June 2024. She received her doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis in 2023. Kiersten has experience working with orthopedic and oncologic conditions. She is a ReVital Certified Therapist and has a special interest in patients with breast cancer and lymphedema. Kiersten enjoys running, hiking and hanging out with her two dogs.

Desiree Lindsey, Patient Service Specialist

Desiree joined our team in 2025, bringing with her a strong commitment to supporting patients through their recovery journey. As a patient service specialist, she leverages her extensive background in customer service to create a welcoming and informative experience for every patient. Her ability to communicate effectively and solve problems ensures patients feel confident and cared for throughout their rehabilitation process.

Before joining our team, Desiree excelled in various roles that honed her organizational and interpersonal skills, which she now uses to enhance patient satisfaction. Outside of work, Desiree enjoys spending time with family.

Chad Janszen, P.T., DPT, OCS

Chad has been a member of the NovaCare Rehabilitation team since 2021. Chad completed his undergraduate education at Ohio University and doctorate of physical therapy at Mount St. Joseph University. He completed orthopedic residency with Select Medical and is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist. Chad has an interest in research and a passion for treating patients who benefit from orthopedic rehabilitation. He enjoys paddle boarding and spending time outdoors.
