Christopher Sullivan, P.T., DPT Multi-Site Center Manager
Chris is the center manager and a treating physical therapist at the NovaCare's Beavercreek center. He graduated from The University of Findlay in 2011 and started working at NovaCare in September 2011. Chris treats a myriad of orthopedic conditions and post-surgical interventions, acute and chronic soft tissue and musculoskeletal injuries and work and functional rehabilitation. He has furthered his skillset by attending courses for TMJ/TMD rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, and is certified to offer dry needling.
Matthew Auger, P.T., DPT, Assistant Center Manager
Mat has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2019. Mat specializes in treating patients who benefit from TMJ treatment, vestibular rehabilitation, gait training, orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine services. Mat completed his undergraduate education at Wright State University and doctorate of physical therapy from University of Dayton.
Ellina Shields, P.T., DPT
Ellina has been a Physical Therapist with Novacare since 2017. She completed her undergraduate education at OSU and doctorate of physical therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2016. Ellina specializes in treatment of patients with pelvic floor dysfunction presenting with symptoms of urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy related pain and post-partum recovery. She has experience treating orthopedic conditions including back pain, pelvic girdle pain and SI joint concerns. Ellina also has training in dry needling.
Joshua Calvelage, P.T., DPT
Josh has been a team member of Novacare Rehabilitation - Beavercreek since 2017, with 5 years of clinical experience. He has worked in the outpatient setting during his career. Josh provides orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, geriatric and worker's compensation services. He is the WorkStrategies champion specializing in functional capacity evaluations and performs work conditioning services. Josh completed his undergraduate education at Wright State University and received a doctorate of physical therapy degree from the University of Cincinnati.
James Cool, PTA
James brings a level of fun and enthusiasm to the center. He has been treating patients in Beavercreek for 7 years and is the only physical therapist assistant at this location. James treats everything from orthopedic injuries, pre- and post-op conditions, vestibular/vertigo and balance conditions, chronic pain and deconditioning cases as well as workers comp and work conditioning programs. He continues to further his skillset by attending courses for chronic pain and pain science.
