All Services Success Stories

Carol Finnigan

Carol Finnigan turned to pelvic floor physical therapy on the recommendation of her physician, after experiencing a dropped bladder, a condition that can cause frequent bathroom urges, leaking and discomfort, making participating in everyday life difficult. Carol began avoiding outings with her grandkids and feeling anxious whenever she left the house. With the help of our pelvic health specialist, she began a personalized treatment plan that included pelvic floor strengthening, posture and breath training, bladder retraining and education on lifestyle modifications. Carol is now able to enjoy more activities without accidents again — something that once felt impossible. She's making steady progress toward her ultimate goal of going on a vacation to a bed-and-breakfast and feeling confident managing her symptoms. Carol's hard work has paid off and she's back to doing what she loves — spending more time with her grandkids.
