Our Team

Donna Waller, PTA, Regional Director

Donna is a regional director of operations in South Jersey, overseeing NovaCare centers in Gloucester, Camden and Salem counties. A highly respected member of the NovaCare team, Donna possesses a strong background in patient rehabilitation in the outpatient and hospital settings. She is a certified orthopaedic technician and achieved a certificate of achievement in NovaCare’s WorkStrategies Program.

Ashley Nelson, DPT, Center Manager

Ashley Nelson is a doctor of physical therapy who is adept in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions of the extremities, post-surgical interventions and sports-related injuries. She is also trained in manual therapy techniques, including muscle energy to treat cervical, thoracic and lumbar dysfunction to the great benefit of her patients. With a compassionate and attentive touch, Ashley is devoted to the highest level of patient care as she works side-by-side with each individual to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Her greatest reward comes with the successful discharge of each patient, knowing they are returning to the activities they love with the learned methods of re-injury prevention in place. Ashley received her doctorate of physical therapy from Widener University.

Donna Barrett, O.T.

Donna has committed herself to a lifetime of superior patient care with an envisioned quality of life for each individual. She is proficient in the treatment of a myriad of orthopaedic injuries and conditions of the entire upper extremity. She specializes in the rehabilitation of CVA and head trauma patients. Donna is an alumna of Kean University where she graduated in 1985 with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy. Her specialized training includes neuro-development treatment (NDT) and advanced NDT certifications in adult hemiplegia, and certification in the Graston Technique.

Patricia Boyle, DPT

Tricia is a physical therapist at NovaCare’s Sewell center. Tricia has seen success in the treatment of a myriad of orthopedic conditions of the spine and extremities as well as pediatric orthopedic conditions such as torticollis and toe-walking. Her background includes affiliations with Kessler Outpatient Physical Therapy in Hammonton, Cooper Hospital acute care in Camden and Cape May County Special Services for school-based physical therapy where she worked with pediatric patients with various developmental, cognitive, and physical disabilities. An alumna of The Richard Stockton College in Pomona, New Jersey, Tricia has pursued academic excellence by earning a bachelor’s degree in biology and master’s degree and doctorate degree of physical therapy.

Samantha Bragg, P.T., DPT

Samantha is focused on clinical excellence and believes that relationship and rehabilitation go hand-in-hand. Her genuine concern, patient-therapist trust building and comprehensive patient education are all part of her plan of care. Samantha treats a myriad of orthopaedic injuries and conditions, both pre- and post-surgical, with a special interest in total joint replacement, lumbar radiculopathy and injuries to the shoulder and knee. Samantha received a bachelor'sdegree in biology from Rutgers University and doctorate of physical therapy from the University of the Sciences.

Megan Gallagher, O.T., CHT

Megan is an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist at NovaCare’s Sewell center. Megan enjoys working with a broad spectrum of upper extremity conditions and specializes with hands-on proficiency in the treatment of hand and wrist fractures and nerve, soft tissue and tendon injuries. A 1991 graduate of Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science, Megan continued her educational goals by becoming a certified hand therapist in 2005.

Laurie Wiest, PTA

Laurie Weist is a physical therapist assistant at NovaCare’s Sewell clinic. Laurie followed her career path from physical therapy aide to physical therapist assistant working closely with the physical therapists to form a dynamic therapist-assistant team that provides quality care for each individual. From comprehensive patient education to compassionate care and encouragement, Laurie ensures patient satisfaction with every visit. Laurie is a graduate of Mercer County Community College where she earned her associate's degree in applied science.

ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation

Cancer patients and survivors often face painful, function-limiting consequences brought on by acute treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery. Cancer rehabilitation can help those individuals regain strength, physical function and the independence they may have lost due to cancer or its treatment.

Hand Therapy

Hand therapy focuses on rehabilitation of the hand and upper limbs and is the merging of occupational therapy and physical therapy theory and practice. Several of our highly skilled therapists go on to become certified hand therapists and are proficient in the treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions.

For our Spanish speaking patients, NovaCare Rehabilitation in Pennsville, NJ is now offering telerehab with a Spanish speaking therapist.  We are offering  therapy from the comfort and safety of your home through our telerehab program.
