Our Team

Carly Schams, P.T., DPT

Carly has been a clinician at NovaCare since 2019. She has helped patients with a variety of needs, including ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation, TMJ pain, headaches, post-operative recovery, vertigo and fall prevention, among others. She completed a bachelor's degree at the College of Saint Benedict and doctorate at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She enjoys hiking, baking and jigsaw puzzles and strives to help patients return to the activities that bring them joy.

Sam Tindall, P.T., DPT

Sam has been a member of NovaCare since 2021, with a wide array of clinical experiences. He has worked in the outpatient pediatric and adult settings, inpatient skilled nursing and long-term care settings. Sam specializes in treating patients who benefit from TMD treatment, running athletes who need analysis, basic pediatric conditions such as torticollis, toe-walking, bone breaks or in-toeing. He also is skilled in workers' compensation and general orthopedic rehabilitation. Sam completed his undergraduate education in kinesiology at University of Northwestern-St Paul and doctorate of physical therapy from Mayo Clinic. He also has a background in film and photography. He and his wife enjoy hiking, traveling, camping, church and volunteering.

Jen Steiner, P.T., OCS, COMT, MBA

Jen has been a member of NovaCare since 2002 and a clinician since 1994. She received her undergraduate degree in physical therapy from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and master's degree in business administration from Western New England College. She is board certified in orthopedics and a certified orthopedic manual therapist. Jen has a wide variety of clinical experience working with people of all ages. She has a special interest in work-related injuries, cancer rehabilitation, TMD, shoulder injuries and running-related injuries. Jen lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two children and enjoys home renovation projects, running and reading.

Trevor Garski, OTR/L

Trevor earned a master's degree in occupational therapy from Brunel University of London. He has worked in health care both in the U.S. and U.K. which has given him a unique scope of clinical experiences which he draws from in his practice. He has always had a passion for therapy and helping others in get back to what they enjoy.

May 17, 2024

Congratulations to Corinne Meisel, physical therapist and center manager, for recently being awarded the American Physical Therapy Association of MN Outstanding Service Award.

This award recognizes individuals who exemplify consistent service to the field of physical therapy, beyond that inherent in being a member of the profession. The nominee typically will have contributed heavily in physical therapy education, clinical research, and patient care services.
