Our Team

Mackenzie Belz, P.T., DPT

Mackenzie is a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist who serves as a multi-site center manager. She leads her teams in providing high-quality care at our Forest Hills and Byron Center locations. Her clinical focus spans sports medicine, pediatrics and pelvic health, allowing her to support a wide range of patients from high school and collegiate athletes recovering from injuries to children with developmental needs to individuals navigating sensitive, pelvic floor conditions.

Joe Liblong, P.T., DPT

Joe has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2025. He specializes in gait and balance training, orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine services. Joe completed his bachelor's degree at Aquinas College and while there was a member of the men's soccer team. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy from Western Michigan University in 2024.

Hand Therapy

Our certified hand therapists (CHT) provide comprehensive and industry-leading treatment for hand, wrist, arm, elbow and shoulder injuries or conditions. Our team will work with you to create an individualized program to return you to work, life and athletics as soon as possible.

Pediatric Therapy

We offer multi-disciplinary, pediatric therapy services to help children reach developmental milestones and their full potential. Therapy methods are typically given in one-on-one sessions, using play-based activities to gain insight into how a child moves, thinks and expresses thoughts and emotions. Additional specialized programs, such as feeding therapy, sensory/emotional regulation, toe walking and torticollis, are also available. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience that enhances each child's participation in desired family, community and school activities.

When you need dedicated, sports-specific care, look to our Select Sports Centers of Excellence (COE). Our COE designation conveys the highest quality in sports medicine delivery. It's an endorsement of expertise in sports as a clinical practice.

In these centers, you'll work with specially trained, sports medicine physical therapists. Their advanced clinical skills and sports experience can help all levels of athletes.
