Hailey Rodriguez Cruz
After a car accident in September 2024, Hailey Rodriguez Cruz was diagnosed with a severe traumatic brain injury and underwent multiple surgeries. She had to relearn everything - how to move, feed herself, bathe and dress. After her stay in a rehabilitation hospital, Hailey arrived at our center, where she began working with our occupational therapy team. At the time, her right side wasn't moving and daily tasks were a struggle. Through skilled care and her determination, Hailey began to regain her independence. Our team focused on rebuilding strength, improving motor control and coordination, restoring balance and helping her safely perform everyday tasks. By February, our therapist was teaching her to swim again. Hailey was also catching and throwing a ball and taking steps toward returning to the outdoor activities she loves. Today, Hailey continues to grow stronger. Thank you, Hailey, for trusting us to be part of your journey.
