Shannon graduated with a doctorate of physical therapy and undergraduate degree with a minor in exercise physiology from Saint Francis University, where she played softball as a Division I athlete. Shannon also served as a graduate teaching assistant in orthopedic and musculoskeletal courses to help fellow physical therapy students at SFU. Shannon has completed certifications and continuing education in trigger point dry needling, running analysis, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, myofascial cupping, compression band flossing and other manual therapy techniques with focus on the neck/back and shoulder. She has special interest in treating athletes of all ages, running-related injuries, neck pain and headaches and TMJ dysfunction. She enjoys traveling, hiking, recreational sports, yoga and spending time with her husband and family at craft breweries and wineries.
