Our Team

Blake Schumann, P.T., DPT

Blake brings a high level of skill, energy and personality to the patients he treats. He was born and raised in northern Kentucky. Blake received a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Georgetown College, after which he earned a doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Kentucky. Blake enjoys working with patients of all kinds, though his primary interest is in sports medicine.

Kevin Cassidy, P.T., DPT, CNPT

Kevin is a distinguished member of the NovaCare team who is the market manager for 11 of NovaCare's centers in the Cincinnati and northern Kentucky regions. His primary office is located at the Eastgate and Hebron facilities. As a treating physical therapist, Kevin travels between all centers where he provides exceptional patient care, and manages and mentors his staff in clinical and service excellence.

Kellie Caywood, Senior Patient Service Specialist

Prior to joining the NovaCare team, Kellie served as an account representative for State Farm Insurance followed by Comparion Insurance Agency. When she joined the NovaCare team in Hebron, she brought her extensive experience in both customer service and insurance to the team to best serve our patients. Kellie now serves as a senior patient service specialist for our northern Kentucky and Ohio markets.

Angela McCormick, Insurance Verifier/Patient Service Specialist

Angela joined the NovaCare team after her experiences in recruiting, substitute teaching and working as a nurse aide. Angela brings her unique experiences of patient care and service to our team by performing insurance verification services for our customers and functions as a floating patient service specialist for our northern Kentucky and Ohio markets.
