NovaCare Bancroft is located within the Devon building, conveniently located off of Pennsylvania Avenue in Wilmington, DE. Our center treats a variety of orthopaedic and general medical impairments, sports injuries as well as specialties including pelvic floor dysfunctions, pregnancy, cancer rehabilitation and lymphedema. We accept most major medical insurances and are proud to be serving our community at this time. Our Team

Daphne Skoutelas, P.T.

Daphne graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science (currently known as the University of the Sciences) with a bachelor's in health science and a master of physical therapy. Along with treating various orthopaedic and neurologic diagnoses for more than 30 years, she is certified in complete decongestive therapy for the treatment of lymphedema. She has taught lectures on lymphedema at Neumann University and other area schools. She also has significant background, and taught lectures, in cardiac rehabilitation. Her specialty areas of focus are working with lymphedema and cancer diagnoses. Specifically, cancer patients may include, but are not limited to breast, head and neck and gynecological. Comprehensive treatment of side side effects such as joint stiffness, fatigue and lymphedema is performed. Daphne heads our cancer and lymphedema program at our Bancroft center.

Sarah Chalnick, P.T., DPT

Sarah Chalnick is an integral member of the clinical team who is well versed in pelvic floor dysfunction and orthopaedics. Sarah graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor's in exercise science and then went on to study at Columbia University where she graduated with her doctorate of physical therapy. Sarah is certified in treating pelvic floor dysfunction and is passionate about treating conditions specific to women which encompass pelvic pain, prolapse, urinary incontinence and pregnancy-related low back pain. In addition to women's health, some of her notable orthopaedic successes include joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs, patellofemoral disorders and lumbopelvic pain. Sarah is also a ReVital certified therapist with a concentration in treating patients with a history of breast cancer as well as cervical cancers. Her genuine concern for her patients, trust building skills and comprehensive patient education ensures clinical excellence.
