Our Team

Rob Hartman, MSPT, Center Manager

Rob has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2011, with nearly 24 years of clinical experience. He has worked in the outpatient setting his entire career. Rob specializes in treating sports and work injuries as well as a variety of musculoskeletal diagnoses, including orthopedic conditions of the spine and of the upper and lower extremities. Rob also treats post-concussion and vestibular conditions. He completed his education at Misericordia University and received a master's degree in physical therapy in 1998. Rob's clinical focus is to provide quality, cutting-edge treatment to patients and get them back to the highest possible functional level.

John Bankus, P.T., DPT

John has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2020. He has worked in the outpatient setting his entire career. John specializes in treating a variety of musculoskeletal diagnoses, including orthopedic conditions of the upper and lower extremities. John received a doctorate of physical therapy in 2019 from Misericordia University. His competence and enthusiasm is evidenced each day in the one-on-one compassionate care he give to every patient.

Brydon Rukstalis, PTA

Brydon has been a member of NovaCare since 2021, working in the Plains and Scranton regions. He has worked primarily in the outpatient setting including land and aquatics treatments. He specializes in treating patients who benefit from orthopedic rehabilitation including sports-specific recovery, nerve entrapment release, work-related injuries, kinesio taping and tissue recovery with use of decompression cupping. He completed his education at Susquehanna University studying biology and management where he also played football. He then received an associates degree in physical therapy assistant at Lackawanna College. He also coaches football for Wyoming Valley West High School and enjoys golfing.
