Ryan Kuehn, P.T., DPT
Ryan has always been interested in health, sports and fitness. A NovaCare team member since 2017 - Ryan specializes in musculoskeletal and orthopedic injuries in the active patient population. He has experience in treating collegiate level athletics at division 1 and 2 levels. As a former division 1 baseball player, Ryan has a particular interest and experience in treating upper extremity injuries and overhead athletes. In addition, Ryan oversees the sports contract at Temple University in Philadelphia where his team assists all football, Olympic, club & recreational athletes return to field of play following injury. Ryan is proficient in return to sports protocols and is committed to giving exceptional rehabilitative care to every individual. He enjoys treating patients at every activity level; from the prime athlete striving to get back in the game to the senior citizen looking for vitality and mobility, Ryan's expertise is evident.
Terrence McHugh, P.T., DPT, ATC, CSCS
Terrence is board certified specialist in sports physical therapy since 2017, and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA. Terry and has worked with a wide range athletic levels from professional, collegiate and international. He also served as a physiotherapist for Ireland's national lacrosse program in multiple international tournaments. He has lectured locally and nationally on multiple topics while also joining Select Medical's continuing education faculty in 2019 with a focus on blood flow restriction training, anabolic resistance and hip and groin related injury.
Patrick Smith, P.T., DPT, OCS, SCS
Patrick is a dedicated professional who joined the NovaCare team in 2017. Pat has completed the sports residency training and manual therapy fellowship training which has contributed substantially to the skillset he has today. With this background, he is now the program coordinator for NovaCare's sports residency program and the staff physical therapist for Temple University Olympic sports. Pat specializes in the treatment of athletic hip and groin injuries, patellofemoral pain, post-operative knee management and tendinopathy. As a former athlete himself, Pat is proficient in understanding the physical capacities and demands required of an athlete to successfully compete in their sport.
Nikki Patel, P.T., DPT, MS, ATC
Nikki has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since August of 2022 with two years of physical therapy clinical experience and 5 years of athletic training clinical experience. She has worked in numerous outpatient and sport specific settings. Nikki specializes in treating athletes and patients who would benefit from core and hip treatment. Nikki completed her undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Delaware receiving a doctorate of physical therapy, master's of anatomy and clinical health science and bachelors of athletic training. She is also a certified functional range mobility specialist and an Exos trained performance specialist.
Suzanne Smith Brandley, M.S., OTR/L, CHT
Suzanne is an accomplished occupational therapist and certified hand therapist who has been with NovaCare since 2000. She specializes in treating complex, traumatic injuries to the upper extremity requiring extensive dynamic and static custom splinting. As well as her clinical expertise, Suzanne has a comprehensive roster of specialized education including, but not limited to, neural mobilization, therapeutic taping, graded motor imagery and wound care. At the forefront of her practice, Suzanne is skilled at creating a positive and interactive experience for each of her patients as she works side-by-side with them to achieve their objectives. Suzanne is committed to providing every patient with the superior care they deserve and being the kind of therapist you would recommend to your family and friends.
Ann Marie Frankel, O.T., CHT
Ann Marie has distinguished herself in the field of occupational/hand therapy. She has been with NovaCare Rehabilitation since 1992. As a clinical veteran, Ann Marie has a passion to help each patient relieve pain, overcome obstacles and achieve mobility and independence. She specializes in upper extremity orthopedic and neurologic conditions including tendon and nerve injuries, fractures, tendonitis, arthritis and nerve compression. Ann Marie is also proficient in custom static and dynamic splinting to meet the needs of the injury. A dedicated professional, Ann Marie has touched countless lives with focused, compassionate care and skillful hand guiding her patients to a successful recovery. Her commitment to clinical excellence is evidence with every patient encounter.
Elizabebeth Eichenlaub, P.T., DPT
Libby began her career in hometown of Lancaster, PA after graduating school in 2021. She joined NovaCare in 2023. She enjoys treating various orthopedic injuries to return wide variety of patients to a high level of activity. She has experience with high school and collegiate level athletes. Libby enjoys promoting healthy living in the community through movement and running.
Mary Gorman, P.T., DPT
Mary has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2022. She has had clinical experience during her studies in the outpatient and acute care settings. Mary enjoys treating patients who benefit from orthopedic rehabilitation, gait training and sports medicine services. Mary completed her undergraduate education at Dickinson College with a bachelor's degree in biology and received a doctorate of physical therapy from Temple University. She enjoys running, the outdoors and spending time with friends and family during her free time.
