Our Team
Marc Miller, P.T., Center Manager
Marc received a bachelor's degree in physical therapy in 1989 from the University of Pittsburgh. He has worked as the center manager at NovaCare's Ford City location since 1992. Marc specializes in treating and rehabilitating a wide range of orthopedic injuries and dysfunctions. His goal is to provide the highest quality of care to patients and empower them to take an active role in their rehabilitation and well-being.
John Eichmiller, P.T., COMT, CSCS
John received a bachelor's degree in physical therapy in 1990 from the University of Pittsburgh. He is experienced in treating a wide variety of orthopaedic, neurologic, sports and work-related injuries, with a specialization in temporomandibular disorders, headaches and cervical spine. John believes every patient deserves a thorough evaluation and individualized program designed to meet their specific needs and goals. It is important to John to spend one-to-one time with his patient at every visit.
Charity Smail, PTA
Charity began working at NovaCare's Ford City location in 1997 as a physical therapy aide and secretary. In 2002, she became a physical therapist assistant with an associate's degree in applied science from Butler County Community College. She assists physical therapists with high quality treatment. Charity's cheerful personality is comforting to each patient while she lifts everyone's
spirits.
Amy Rottman, PTA
Amy received an associate's degree in applied science and massage therapy in 2001 from Butler County Community College. She has assisted physical therapists at NovaCare Rehabilitation in Ford City since 2000. Amy supports each patient in their recovery with a friendly ear and caring personality.
Tammy Mauthe, Patient Service Specialist
Tammy has been a patient service specialist in the Ford City location since 1995. She attended Butler County Community College and earned an associate's degree in applied science while majoring in medical office administration. She enjoys working with patients and helping them to have a clear understanding of their insurance and therapy benefits. Tammy's goal is to make everybody feel welcome and comfortable.
Jaimie Pechan, Patient Service Specialist
Jaimie attended four years of college and became a member of the NovaCare team in 2002 as a patient service specialist. She takes pride in working with patients, doctors and insurances to obtain accurate billing information. Jaimie's goal is to assist all patients and make their therapy experience a success.
Tricia Howard, Patient Service Specialist
Tricia is the newest team member at NovaCare's Ford City center, having joined as a patient service specialist in 2020. She greets all patients with her pleasant attitude and smile. She enjoys spending time with her family and farm animals. Tricia's goal is to support our patients in their recovery.
Cheryl Deel, O.T., CHT
Cheryl graduated from Ohio State University in 1981 with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy. She earned certification as a hand therapist in 1991. Cheryl's goals are to increase a patient's understanding of their disease or injury and to establish an individualized therapy program to maximize the functional use of their hand.
