Huber Heights

Chris is the center manager and a treating physical therapist at the NovaCare's Huber Heights center. He graduated from The University of Findlay in 2011 and started working at NovaCare in September 2011. Chris treats a myriad of orthopedic conditions and post-surgical interventions, acute and chronic soft tissue/musculoskeletal injuries and work/functional rehabilitation. He has furthered his skillset by attending courses for TMJ/TMD rehabilitation, vertigo/vestibular rehabilitation and is certified to offer dry needling.

Erica is a 2019 graduate of the OSU doctoral physical therapy program. She has lived in several areas, including Colorado, but relocated to Ohio for her education and now career. She loves orthopedic and sports medicine outpatient physical therapy, especially foot and ankle pathologies. She additionally is now a LSVT BIG ® certified clinician.

Pete retired from the Air Force after 26 years of distinguished service, joined NovaCare team in October 2005 and has worked as physical therapy assistant for 30 years. He is certified to perform post offer employment tests (POETS) and is the worker compensation champion for the Huber Heights office.

Lara has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2021 and currently works as a float for the Dayton market. She has worked in the outpatient, inpatient, home health and rehab settings for 32+ years. She specializes in treating patients who benefit from orthopedic rehabilitation, aquatic therapy and sports medicine services. Lara received an associate of applied science in physical therapy assistant technology at Central Piedmont Community College in 1990. She has training in arthritis group exercise classes, kinesiotaping, lumbar MET, TMJ and level 1 lymphedema manual drainage. Lara and her husband have a son and daughter, both in college. She enjoys playing with her dog, Mario, reading and spin classes in her free time.

Alex is a 2022 graduate of the University of Findlay doctor of physical therapy program and started working at NovaCare in December 2023. He was born and raised in the Dayton area, attending Springboro High School. He has an interest in orthopedic rehab, sports medicine and pediatrics. In his spare time, Alex enjoys being a swim coach.
