Our Team

Martha Hester, P.T.

Martha has been a member of the NovaCare Rehabilitation team at Grove City Health Center for eight years, with 36 years of clinical experience. She has worked in the outpatient , inpatient, skilled nursing facilities and home health settings over the course of her career. The majority of her career has been in the outpatient setting. Martha specializes in treating patients who benefit from spine and general orthopedic care, chronic pain, gait training and sports medicine and has certification/training in kinesiotaping and mechanical treatment approach to the injured spine. Martha completed her physical therapy education at The Ohio State University. She enjoys exercising and spending time with family and friends.

Heather Biro, OTR/L

Heather brings a high level of energy and personality to the patients she treats. Heather enjoys treating patients of all kinds, and is experienced in hand therapy, with surgical and conservative treatment of hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. She specializes in fabrication of custom upper extremity orthotics. Heather received a bachelor's degree in health science and then earned her master's of occupational therapy from the University of Findlay in 2020. Heather was born and raised in Cleveland, OH and enjoys watching sports along with caring for all her fur babies.

Elizabeth Thimmes, PTA

Elizabeth has been with NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2016 and has worked in the outpatient setting over the course of her career, following an educational rotation at Nationwide Children's Hospital, treating a younger population to return to playing sports such as basketball, football, baseball and softball. Elizabeth also has experience with concussion rehab as well as managing injured workers to return to work safely. Elizabeth earned her associates degree from Zane State University in 2016 and her bachelor's degree in healthcare management from Franklin University in 2020.

Joel Craig, P.T., DPT

Joel has been with NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2018 and brings positive energy and compassionate care to his patients. His expertise is in orthopedic and sports-related dysfunctions while also being able to treat vestibular cases. Joel earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from the University of Evansville in 2015 and his doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Evansville in 2018 and is also dry needling level 1 certified. Joel was born and raised in Sunbury, OH and enjoys his hobbies of playing soccer, golf and sand volleyball amongst other outdoor activities.

Erin Brown, P.T.

Erin has been with NovaCare since 2019, with 22 years of clinical experience. She has a passion for foot and ankle treatments. Erin earned a bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University in 1999. Erin was born and raised in Ohio and is a die-hard OSU Buckeye fan and loves the hot weather. As a mother of three, she enjoys working with young athletes and helping them return to sport.

Olivia Lake, Patient Service Specialist

Olivia joined the NovaCare team in July 2023. She has been working in customer service roles since 2018. Olivia enjoys playing guitar, reading and spending time with family and friends. Olivia was a competitive figure skater for six years, and still loves to skate when she is able. She has two nieces and a nephew that she loves spending time with. Olivia is passionate about mental health and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology with plans to one day become a school psychologist.

Kamryn Courtright, PTA

Kamryn has been a member of the NovaCare Rehabilitation team at the Grove City Health Center since 2022. She has experience in both outpatient and inpatient therapy settings Kamryn received a bachelor's degree in exercise science and sports management in 2018 from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and an associate degree in 2021 from Clark State University.
