Our Team

Marianne Gradisar, MSPT

Marianne has been a physical therapist for over 25 years. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from The Ohio State University and master's degree in physical therapy from Columbia University. Marianne began her career in inpatient rehabilitation at Ohio State University's Dodd Hall specializing in stroke and spinal cord rehabilitation. Marianne's focus is on manual therapy for the shoulder and spine. She is McKenzie certified for low back pain and dysfunction. Marianne has also completed the APTA pelvic health 1 certification and treats several pelvic health diagnosis.

Karen Burns, P.T.

Karen has been a physical therapist with NovaCare since 2006. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in physical therapy in 1997. She has also worked in the inpatient, skilled nursing facility and school settings, but outpatient therapy is her passion. Karen has taken multiple continuing education course, with her primary focus on vestibular rehabilitation, TMJ and treatment of orthopedic conditions.

Courtney Demkowicz, PTA

Courtney has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2013. She has worked in outpatient, skilled nursing and acute care in a hospital setting. Courtney earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Texas A&M University and associate degree in physical therapist assistant technology from Zane State College. She has taken courses in pre/postnatal rehabilitation, McKenzie Part A for lumbar pain and injuries pertaining to runners. Courtney is also trained through Polestar Pilates and incorporates Pilates into a patient's rehabilitation program.

Nathan O'Malley, P.T., DPT, OCS, CSCS

Nathan has been practicing physical therapy since 2021 after graduating from Ohio State University and became an orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) in 2024. Before joining NovaCare, he worked in acute care in one of Columbus' hospital systems. Nathan enjoys working with all patient populations, with a special focus on return-to-sport and activity, vestibular and balance and low back and hip pain. He enjoys exercising (especially weightlifting), hiking, exploring the outdoors and traveling out of state.
