Our Team

Richard Douglas, O.T., CHT, COMT, Center Manager

Richard Douglas is an occupational therapist, certified hand therapist and certified orthopaedic manual therapist. He is the center manager of the Vineland center and is an expert in his field, treating orthopaedic and neurological upper extremity injuries. Rich has also distinguished himself as a leading specialist in the rehabilitation of the overhead athlete and overuse injuries of the youth athlete. He specializes in the creation of rehabilitation programs that address the entire kinetic chain. Rich lectures both locally and nationally and continues his involvement with therapy programs in the university environment.

Sean Trucano, MPT

Sean is a physical therapist at NovaCare’s Vineland center and enjoys the challenges of treating a diverse patient population. Sean is a 2001 alumnus of Widener University where he earned a master's degree in physical therapy. Sean is also certified in the Graston Technique, an advanced method of soft tissue mobilization to decrease pain and increase function.

Lois Koering, MPT, ATC

Lois is an integral part of the NovaCare clinical team who specializes in sports medicine. She has used her diverse skills extensively working with athletes in soccer, hockey, and football with the US Soccer National Teams, Olympic athletes, and the W.U.S.A. women’s professional team, the Boston Breakers. She has also worked with the WFL women’s football team, and the men’s and women’s World Cup soccer teams, US Synchronized figure skating, US figure skaters, and the US Hockey teams. With a focus and expertise in treating sports injuries, Lois is a seasoned clinician specializing in joint mobilization, arthrofibrosis, adhesive capsulitis, and joint reconstruction and replacement with an emphasis on knee and shoulder patients.

Amy Allonardo, MPT

Amy is a valued member of the clinician team who is proficient in the treatment of a myriad of orthopedic conditions including spinal injuries, shoulder and knee dysfunctions, ankle sprain/strains and other sports related injuries. She is equally adept in the treatment of post CVA and traumatic brain injury patients, but her true passion and competence is most evident in the rehabilitation of pediatric patients. Amy loves working with children and enjoys the challenge of creating new activities for each child and seeing their excitement when they achieve a goal. From torticollis and cerebral palsy, to children with developmental delays and toe-walkers, Amy sets and achieves the standard for exceptional and effective care.

John Babnew, PTA

John has been a valued member of the team since the beginning of his career, working side-by-side with other professionals who are dedicated to providing clinical excellence. With more than 24 years of rehabilitation experience to his credit, John has excelled in the treatment of a diverse patient population where he has seen particular success in the treatment of knee and shoulder injuries. He is skilled in manual therapy techniques and proficient in motivating and working one-on-one with each individual to accomplish the established goals. For John, success is measured by ensuring that each patient has a great rehabilitative experience at the Vineland clinic. This is evidenced by the high level of returning patients who are confident in the treatment they have received. When coming back to therapy, John is one of the “familiar faces” to welcome them and a significant part of all the success stories.

Jennifer Scrivani, O.T.

Jennifer is an occupational therapist with a focus on compassionate care and clinical excellence. She has successfully treated wrist and hand fractures, arthroplasty, digit amputations, compressive neuropathies, epicondylitis and tenosynovitis, tendon injuries and is proficient in fabricating a range of static and dynamic hand and forearm orthoses. Jennifer is committed to higher learning and continually educates herself with the latest research and techniques to the great benefit of her patients to help them maximize their inherent potential to achieve their goals. From a comprehensive initial evaluation and individualized rehabilitation program, Jennifer gives every person the necessary tools and knowledge to safely resume their previous activities without apprehension.

Patrick LaCroix, MPT

Patrick is an accomplished clinician with more than 18 years of patient care to his credit who is skilled in the treatment of a broad spectrum of orthopaedic injuries and post-surgical interventions. His true expertise is fully realized in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries where he successfully rehabilitates individuals with shoulder, knee, lumbar and cervical spine, ankle, brachial plexus and vestibular pathologies. Patrick is also proficient in return to sport programs and testing for athletes with knee and shoulder injuries as well as post-concussion syndrome. Patrick graduated in 1999 with a master's degree in physical therapy from The University of the Sciences.

Sarah Hetrich, O.T.

Sarah believes that every patient has unique abilities and goals, requiring skilled patient-centered treatment to assist them to return to their meaningful and valued activities. Her priority is to provide quality and skilled occupational therapy services to improve the ability of each person and return them to activities at home and work with maximal function. Her noteworthy successes include orthopedic injuries of the upper extremity including wrist, hand and digit fractures, arthroplasty, epicondylitis, and compressive neuropathies. In addition, Sarah is proficient in orthosis fabrication for upper extremity injuries.

Telerehab Program

At NovaCare Rehabilitation, we offer physical and occupational therapy from the comfort and safety of your home through out telerehab program. If you are limited by travel, injury or a weakened immune system, we will virtually bring our services to you.

ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation

Cancer patients and survivors often face painful, function-limiting consequences brought on by acute treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery. Cancer rehabilitation can help those individuals regain strength, physical function and the independence they may have lost due to cancer or its treatment.

Hand Therapy

Hand therapy focuses on rehabilitation of the hand and upper limbs and is the merging of occupational therapy and physical therapy theory and practice. Several of our highly skilled therapists go on to become certified hand therapists and are proficient in the treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions.
