Our Team

Sarah Kisby, P.T., DPT, Center Manager

Sarah is a physical therapist and center manager for NovaCare's Northfield center and has successfully treated a variety of orthopedic injuries and post-surgical interventions with a special interest in lumbosacral dysfunction, shoulder pathologies and gait dysfunction of all age groups. Sarah also specializes in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation. In addition, Sarah is experienced in aquatic therapy. With Sarah's athletic background, she is knowledgeable and skilled at identifying movement dysfunction in athletes and correcting impairments to prevent further injury. Sarah received her bachelor's degree in biology with a concentration in physical therapy in 2008 from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey and her doctorate of physical therapy in 2011 from the University of New England.

Kristin Horrox, P.T., DPT

Kristin is a welcomed member of the clinical team who has always been interested in health, sports and fitness. As a distance runner, Kristin has a passion for treating lower extremity injuries, most notably running related injuries and addressing running mechanics. With her athletic background, she is knowledgeable and skilled at identifying training errors and correcting form to prevent further injury. Kristin has experience treating and creating functional programs for the geriatric population coping with symptoms related to Alzheimer's disease. From treating the prime athlete striving to get back in the game to the senior citizen looking for vitality and mobility, Kristin is committed to creating an outstanding rehabilitative experience for all.

Charles Branca, PTA, LMT

Charlie is a physical therapist assistant at NovaCare's Northfield clinic and has worked with patients in hospital, outpatient and inpatient settings assisting in the rehabilitation of a broad spectrum of orthopedic conditions and post-operative interventions. Charlie is a licensed massage therapist with 30 years' experience and incorporates massage techniques into physical therapy programs as prescribed, and is certified in the Graston technique. Charlie is an alumnus of St Petersburg Junior College in Florida with an associate's degree in physical therapist assistant. In addition, Charlie has completed numerous continuing education courses and attended company sponsored in-services and educational programs.

Mark Senese, P.T., DPT, COMT

Mark is valued member of the NovaCare clinical team who treats a broad spectrum of orthopedic injuries and post-surgical interventions and excels in the rehabilitation of hip and knee diagnoses. A former athlete, he is keenly aware of the importance of remaining active and being able to participate in normal athletic and recreational activities. With this first-hand knowledge, he is adept at assessing the pathology of sports injuries and in guiding his patients to correct form to prevent further injuries. In addition, Mark is proficient in manual therapy and exercise prescription in cancer survivorship, and is a ReVital cancer rehabilitation specialist. On a daily basis Mark provides exceptional patient care with genuine empathy for each of his patients.

Eric Butvich, O.T., CHT

Eric is an accomplished occupational therapist and certified hand therapist with more than 17 years of exceptional patient care to his credit. Eric has extensive knowledge of all aspects of screening, evaluation and treatment of the upper extremity. He is especially proficient in upper extremity fractures, joint dislocation, tendonitis, bursitis, ligament/tendon repairs, peripheral nerve injuries/repairs, and conservative and post-surgical arthritis management including the fabrication of static and dynamic orthoses. He is passionate about getting each person back to their pre-injury level of function and is highly-skilled at helping his patients achieve their goals.

Pam Gallagher, O.T., CHT

A clinical veteran with more than 35 years of experience in the field, Pam is a highly respected member of the NovaCare team and has garnered a wealth of knowledge from her lifetime of service. From carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome to traumatic injuries such as amputation and crush fractures, to the rehabilitation of epicondylitis and Dequervains syndrome, Pam treats with compassion and clinical excellence. A 1984 alumna of Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, Pam became a certified hand therapist in 1993. Pam has also worked extensively and directly with a hand surgeon during her many years in the field and has complemented her clinical expertise with a roster of continuing education courses.

Julianne Nehl, DPT

Julianne believes that every patient has unique abilities and goals, requiring skilled, patient-centered treatment to assist them to return to their meaningful and valued activities. Seeing each person as more than just the diagnosis, Julianne specializes in being an advocate and collaborator and is devoted to finding the right fit while designing innovative treatment plans that meet desired goals. Julianne knows the more a patient is encouraged, motivated and educated the better the outcome of their physical therapy program. Her successes include the rehabilitation of vestibular dysfunction, cardiovascular issues, deconditioning syndrome and pain management. She has a special interest in working with the geriatric population.

Erin Wright, MSOT

Erin is an occupational therapist at NovaCare's Northfield clinic and is committed to providing each patient with superior clinical care in a supportive, encouraging environment. Her hands-on competence is evident in the treatment of a myriad of upper extremity orthopedic injuries, both pre- and post-surgical with noted success in the rehabilitation of fractures, nerve injuries, tendon and ligament repairs and sprains and strains. Erin is an alumna of Richard Stockton College of New Jersey where she earned her master's degree in occupational therapy. Erin has since completed numerous continuing education courses and is certified in the Graston Technique and is looking forward to becoming a certified hand therapist.

Courtenay Menet, MSPT

Courtenay Menet is a clinical veteran with more than 22 years of exceptional patient care to her credit. She has notable success in the treatment of a wide variety of orthopedic conditions for all age groups, post-surgical rehabilitation, and gait and balance training. Courtney brings these years of in-clinic experience into her current role as a post-surgical home care provider, where she seeks to make an immediate and practical difference in her patient's home by providing education, support and direction. Courtenay engages both her patient and their family in meaningful conversations as she guides them through their initial, post-operative experience with expertise, compassion and respect. On a daily basis, Courtenay is committed to providing each patient with the superior care they deserve and being the kind of therapist you would recommend to your family and friends.

Eva Johannesen, P.T.

Eva is a clinical veteran who has distinguished herself in the field of physical therapy with a career spanning more than 32 years. She has provided exceptional rehabilitation for patients across the lifespan and specializes in the treatment of TMD, lymphedema, chronic pain, Bell's palsy, pulmonary issues, back, neck, hip and shoulder injuries as well as vestibular disorders. Eva is dedicated to her patients with a focus on pain relief, restoration of function and quality of life. She is skilled in numerous eastern and western manual modalities including Reflexology, Reiki and Meningeal Care. Eva is a true hands-on therapist who is passionate about returning each person to their pre-injury level of function, and is proficient at helping patients achieve their goals. Her commitment to clinical excellence is evidenced with every patient encountered.

ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation

Cancer patients and survivors often face painful, function-limiting consequences brought on by acute treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery. Cancer rehabilitation can help these individuals regain strength, physical function and the independence they may have lost due to cancer or its treatment.

Hand Therapy

Hand therapy focuses on rehabilitation of the hand and upper limbs and is the merging of occupational therapy and physical therapy theory and practice. Several of our highly skilled therapists go on to become certified hand therapists and are proficient in the treatment of hand and upper extremity condition.
