Our Team

June Firkser, P.T., DPT, Center Manager

June is the center manager and treating physical therapist at NovaCare's Merchantville center. She is skilled in the treatment of a diverse patient population with orthopedic conditions and post-surgical interventions, including the treatment of cervical dysfunction and sports-related injuries. Her hallmark is motivating patients to actively participate in their care and inspiring each individual to achieve a total healthy lifestyle. June is a multisport endurance athlete and believes along with physical therapy, injury prevention and nutrition are integral aspects in the rehabilitation of active individuals. A 2005 graduate of Drexel University with a bachelor's degree in biology, June earned her doctorate of physical therapy in 2008 from Thomas Jefferson University.

Stacy Herrmann, PTA

Stacy is an integral part of the clinical team who has honed her skills working side-by-side with other professionals all dedicated to offering exceptional patient care. Stacy is proficient in the treatment of a myriad of orthopedic conditions and post-surgical interventions, but her true competence is evident in the rehabilitation of patients with ankle, knee and shoulder injuries. Stacy emphasizes proper body mechanics and self-care management to achieve a total healthy lifestyle

Christine Mac, P.T., DPT

Christine is a welcomed new member of the NovaCare clinical team. She discovered her passion for the field when she observed her grandpa receiving physical therapy, and saw all the benefits of treatment. Christine enjoys treating middle age and older adults. A dedicated professional, she brings her natural skills of compassion and active listening together with her ability to evaluate and treat patients thoroughly, and competently, using evidence-based practice and innovative treatment plans. Christine is committed to providing every patient with the superior clinical care they deserve and being the kind of therapist you would recommend to your family and friends.

ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation

Cancer patients and survivors often face painful, function-limiting consequences brought on by acute treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery. Cancer rehabilitation can help these individuals regain strength, physical function and the independence they may have lost due to cancer or its treatment.

Hand Therapy

Hand therapy focuses on rehabilitation of the hand and upper limbs and is the merging of occupational therapy and physical therapy theory and practice. Several of our highly skilled therapists go on to become certified hand therapists and are proficient in the treatment of hand and upper extremity condition.

For our Spanish speaking patients, NovaCare Rehabilitation in Pennsville, NJ is now offering telerehab with a Spanish speaking therapist. We are offering therapy from the comfort and safety of your home through our telerehab program. If you are limited by travel, injury or a weakened immune system, we will virtually bring our services to you.
