Our Team

Kaley Heck, MPT, ATC, Market Manager

Kaley is an accomplished clinician who specializes in the rehabilitation of orthopedic conditions, vestibular conditions and concussion rehabilitation. Kaley is also a market manager supervising several area centers. With her background in treating the injured athlete, she has successfully treated thousands of pre and post-operative orthopedic patients of all ages ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Kaley is a certified athletic trainer, certified Select Medical WorkStrategies® functional capacity evaluation clinician and a ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation specialist. Kaley specializes in a multi-faceted approach to wellness and rehabilitation while providing day-to-day operations, supervision and mentoring to NovaCare's Mays Landing team. Kaley attended Richard Stockton College, earning a bachelor's degree in biology in 1998, certificate in gerontology in 1999 and master's degree in physical therapy in 2000.

Toby Stone, P.T., DPT

Toby is a physical therapist at NovaCare's Mays Landing clinic. As a seasoned clinician, Toby treats a broad spectrum of injuries and pre- and post-surgical conditions. Toby's expertise is particularly noted in the rehabilitation of sports injuries, joint replacement, post-operative conditions, and low back pain and dysfunction. Toby received his bachelor's degree in biology in 1998 from Rutgers University and his doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He has complemented his formal education with an impressive roster of continuing education credits, and is certified in the implementation of ErgoScience functional capacity evaluations and the Graston technique.

McKenzie Wenrich, P.T., DPT

McKenzie has a passion for her profession that encompasses every aspect of her treatment style. Her goal is to understand each patient as an individual, to learn about their specific goals, educate them and keep them active participants in their rehabilitation program. She strives to have individuals understand that they are part of their journey to living without pain. McKenzie specializes in all aspects of cancer rehabilitation, deconditioned patients, post-op shoulder, knee and spine issues and lumbar stabilization.

Melissa Mendoza, P.T., DPT

Melissa is a dedicated professional with a passion for excellence in patient care. Melissa is fully engaged in making patients' rehabilitation an exceptional experience with compassion, empathy and expertise. Her noteworthy successes include the rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries including shoulder, knee, low back and ankle for all populations including athletes. She is also skilled in the treatment of the pediatric population including torticollis, cerebral palsy, gross developmental delay and toe walking. Melissa takes great care in using appropriate evidence-based measures and clinical techniques for patients to develop specialized treatment programs that address their concerns and goals. Melissa is committed to providing every patient with the superior clinical care they deserve and being the kind of therapist you would recommend to your family and friends.

ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation

Cancer patients and survivors often face painful, function-limiting consequences brought on by acute treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery. Cancer rehabilitation can help these individuals regain strength, physical function and the independence they may have lost due to cancer or its treatment.

Hand Therapy

Hand therapy focuses on rehabilitation of the hand and upper limbs and is the merging of occupational therapy and physical therapy theory and practice. Several of our highly skilled therapists go on to become certified hand therapists and are proficient in the treatment of hand and upper extremity condition.
