Heather Briggs, P.T., DPT, CLT, Market Manager

Heather is an accomplished clinician who specializes in the treatment of work-related injuries, foot and ankle injuries and vestibular/balance disorder. She is certified in the treatment of lymphedema. As well as holding the title of center manager for our Delran location, Heather was promoted to market manager supervising several area centers. Throughout her years of practice, Heather has earned a distinguished record in the medical community for outstanding patient rehabilitation. She received a bachelor's, master's and doctorate degree from the University of the Sciences.

Maureen Castello, OTD, CHT

Maureen is an occupational therapist and certified hand therapist with more than 27 years of patient care. Maureen has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in all aspects of upper extremity injuries and dysfunctions. Maureen received her bachelor's degree in 1984 from Temple University, certificate in upper extremity rehabilitation in 2001 from Drexel University, and clinical doctorate in occupational therapy in 2010 from Rocky Mountain University. She became a certified hand therapist in 1996 and was certified in lymphedema management in 2003.

Jennifer Rowand, P.T., DPT

Jennifer has been a member of the NovaCare clinical team from the beginning of her career and has a wealth of experience treating a wide spectrum of orthopedic cases and specializes in shoulder and cervical spine injuries. A seasoned clinician in the workers comp setting, Jennifer focuses on the safe and efficient return to work of her patients with an emphasis on proper body mechanics to avoid re injury. Currently, Jennifer has successfully completed training and is certified in strength after breast cancer, an evidence-based exercise program for breast cancer survivors.

Alyssa Heimerling, PTA

Alyssa is a physical therapist assistant with NovaCare's Delran center and has a wealth of knowledge in the treatment of orthopedic injuries and conditions. Alyssa specializes in the treatment of patients with shoulder, knee and low back conditions. She is also skilled in soft tissue mobilization of the neck and back for issues such as headaches and chronic pain. Alyssa incorporates physician-approved yoga and Pilates techniques for a variety of diagnoses. She is also trained in rehabilitation for prosthetics.

Telerehab with a Spanish Speaking Therapist

For our Spanish speaking patients, NovaCare Rehabilitation in Pennsville, NJ is now offering telerehab with a Spanish speaking therapist.  We are offering  therapy from the comfort and safety of your home through our telerehab program.
