Our Team

Hannah Morgan, DPT, Center Manager

Hannah is a physical therapist and valued member of the NovaCare clinical and management teams. Hannah treats a broad spectrum of orthopedic injuries and post-surgical interventions. She especially enjoys the challenge of rehabilitating shoulder maladies and sports injuries to the lower extremities and specializes in the treatment of pre-teen and teenage athletes. Hannah has successfully completed training and is certified in Strength After Breast Cancer (SABC), an evidence-based exercise program for breast cancer survivors. From young people to the senior population, Hannah’s clinical expertise is evidenced each day as she guides her patients to a successful recovery. Hannah received a doctorate of physical therapy from Arcadia University.

Alice Campanella, MPT

Alice is a dedicated professional and an accomplished therapist who treats with compassion and clinical excellence. With a diverse background that includes affiliations at Cooper Hospital in Camden, West Jersey Hospital in Marlton and Medical College Hospital in Elkins Park, Alice has served as a staff physical therapist at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Philadelphia and rehabilitated patients in the home care setting. Throughout her more than 25 years of exceptional patient care, Alice has gained valuable experience, insight and a genuine understanding of helping patients cope with physical and functional limitations. She sets the standard for effective treatment methods and promoting patient confidence. Alice has a wealth of continuing education to her credit and specializes in the rehabilitation of ankle injuries, shoulder injuries, sacroiliac dysfunction, TMJ rehabilitation, concussion and vestibular injuries.

Danelle Kwis, MPT

Danelle is a physical therapist at NovaCare’s Cherry Hill clinic and is well acquainted with the pathology of sports injuries and specializes in the treatment of shoulder, knee and lumbar conditions. She enjoys working one-on-one with patients suffering from vertigo and balance conditions. Danelle is an alumna of the University of the Sciences, where she earned a bachelor's degree in allied health science and master's degree in physical therapy.

Donna Barrett, O.T.

Donna is a distinguished member of the NovaCare team and has committed herself to a lifetime of superior patient care with an envisioned quality of life for each individual. She is proficient in the treatment of a myriad of orthopedic injuries and conditions of the entire upper extremity. She specializes in the rehabilitation of CVA and head trauma patients. Clinical affiliations for Donna have included Magee Rehabilitation Hospital and Haverford State Mental Hospital in Pennsylvania as well as multiple school system locations in New Jersey. Over the span of her more than 34 year career, Donna has touched countless lives with focused compassionate care and a skillful hand guiding her patients to a successful recovery. Her continued commitment to clinical excellence is evidenced each day. Donna is an alumna of Kean University where she graduated in 1985 with a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy.

Lisa Sowell, DPT

Lisa is a valued member of the NovaCare clinical team who treats a broad spectrum of orthopedic injuries and post-surgical interventions. Her clinical affiliations were centered on the treatment of a general orthopedic population including post-operative rehabilitation, CVA and developmentally disabled children. She is likewise skilled in the treatment of sports injuries, and continues to be an exceptional clinical instructor to a number of students. Lisa’s hallmark is compassionate and comprehensive patient care implementing evidence-based protocol to assure effective and timely treatment plans for each of her patients. Lisa is an alumna of American International College where she earned a bachelor's degree and doctorate of physical therapy.

Joan Jones, O.T., CHT

Joan is a clinical veteran with more than 30 years of experience in the field and a valued member of the NovaCare team who has garnered a wealth of knowledge from her lifetime of service treating patients in the outpatient, inpatient, hospital and homecare settings. From orthopedic and neurological upper extremity injuries, to tendon laceration and post-operative repairs for nerve compression to lateral and medial epicondylitis and DeQuervain’s tendonitis, Joan treats with compassion and clinical excellence. Joan’s background included the rehabilitation of patients at Shriners Hospital for Children, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Northern Province Ministry of Health in South Africa and Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific in Hawaii. Joan earned her degree in occupational therapy in 1986 from Temple University and became a certified hand therapist in 1995. Joan is licensed by the state of New Jersey and registered with the National Board for Certification in occupational therapy.

Telerehab Program

At NovaCare Rehabilitation, we offer physical and occupational therapy from the comfort and safety of your home through out telerehab program. If you are limited by travel, injury or a weakened immune system, we will virtually bring our services to you.

ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation

Cancer patients and survivors often face painful, function-limiting consequences brought on by acute treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery. Cancer rehabilitation can help those individuals regain strength, physical function and the independence they may have lost due to cancer or its treatment.

Hand Therapy

Hand therapy focuses on rehabilitation of the hand and upper limbs and is the merging of occupational therapy and physical therapy theory and practice. Several of our highly skilled therapists go on to become certified hand therapists and are proficient in the treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions.

For our Spanish speaking patients, NovaCare Rehabilitation in Pennsville, NJ is now offering telerehab with a Spanish speaking therapist.  We are offering  therapy from the comfort and safety of your home through our telerehab program.
