Our Team

John Stuckert, P.T., Center Manager

John is the center manager for NovaCare’s Cherry Hill clinic and has been a team leader for more than a decade. John is skilled in the rehabilitation of a wide range of orthopaedic conditions and post-surgical interventions and is certified in the Graston Technique, an advanced method of soft tissue mobilization to decrease pain and increase function. John received his bachelor’s degree in allied health and master’s degree in physical therapy in 1992 from The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, now The University of the Sciences, and has since completed many clinical continuing education courses.

Scott Anton, DPT

Scott is skilled in the treatment of orthopaedic injuries specific to shoulder, knee, hip and low back conditions and injuries. Scott is also competent in working with the athletic population where he treats patients recovering from sports injuries and enjoys using his creativity to progress each patient through high levels of sports-specific activities. His clinical approach centers on comprehensive patient education, individually designed rehabilitation plans and evidence-informed practice as he guides patients to a successful recovery. Scott received bachelor's degree in exercise physiology from the University of Delaware and doctorate of physical therapy from Temple University.

Marguerite Haines, PTA

Marguerite is a physical therapist assistant at NovaCare’s Atco center. Throughout her years of patient service she has mastered hands-on techniques and is highly skilled in the development of individualized exercise programs with particular success noted in the rehabilitation of the workers' compensation patient. Marguerite received a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1993 from Temple University and an associate's degree in the physical therapy assistant program in 1998 from Hahnemann University.

Matthew Fender, O.T., CSCS, USAW

Matthew is an occupational therapist and certified strength and conditioning specialist at NovaCare’s Cherry Hill Springdale Road center. He is skilled in the rehabilitation of a myriad of upper extremity injuries and conditions with notable success in the treatment of wrist injuries and fractures, tendon and nerve injuries and inflammatory conditions. Matt focuses each individual with treatment that is evidence-based and offers valuable patient education to prevent re-injury. Matt received a bachelor's and master's degree in exercise science from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and master's degree in occupational therapy from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey.

Telerehab Program

At NovaCare Rehabilitation, we offer physical and occupational therapy from the comfort and safety of your home through out telerehab program. If you are limited by travel, injury or a weakened immune system, we will virtually bring our services to you.

ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation

Cancer patients and survivors often face painful, function-limiting consequences brought on by acute treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery. Cancer rehabilitation can help those individuals regain strength, physical function and the independence they may have lost due to cancer or its treatment.

Hand Therapy

Hand therapy focuses on rehabilitation of the hand and upper limbs and is the merging of occupational therapy and physical therapy theory and practice. Several of our highly skilled therapists go on to become certified hand therapists and are proficient in the treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions.
