Sydney has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2022, with 6 years of clinical experiences. She has worked in the outpatient setting with a brief stent of time working in the home health setting. Sydney specializes in pelvic floor physical therapy, TMJ treatment, orthopedic rehabilitation and sports medicine rehabilitation. She completed her undergraduate education at Michigan State University and received her doctorate of physical therapy at Wayne State University in 2016. Sydney has extensive training in pelvic floor training with a significant passion in this area of physical therapy. Sydney and her husband have two wonderful sons and enjoys reading and watching Harry Potter in her free time.

Emily has been a team member at Select Medical since June 2022; prior to that she has been a member at Robinet Physical Therapy since July 2020. She has mainly worked in outpatient settings but has experienced inpatient settings. Emily treats a variety of patients requiring sports rehab, orthopedic rehab, neuromuscular rehab and gait training. Emily graduated from Baker College Muskegon with her physical therapy assistant degree, and she is continuing her education currently towards a doctorate in physical therapy. Emily has a great interest in taking physical therapy outside the USA. She enjoys spending time at Lake Michigan and running and trying new things.

Jason graduated from GVSU's physical therapy program in 2000 with his wife, Barbara, (also a physical therapist as they met during graduate school). They started their independent outpatient orthopedic and pelvic floor specialty physical therapy company in 2013 and merged with NovaCare in June 2022. Jason specializes in orthopedic conditions specifically spine and extremity rehab and sports related injuries as well as high level athlete enhancement. He is working toward his manual therapy certification through the University of St Augustine. He enjoys working with patients from a full mind, body, spirit perspective to help heal the person, not just the symptoms.

Barbara received a master's degree in physical therapy from Grand Valley State University in 2000. She met her husband, Jason, during graduate school and their career paths led to opening a successful independent outpatient physical therapy center in 2013. In June 2022 they merged with NovaCare Rehabilitation where she continues her passion of treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. She has more than 20 years of clinical experience working with patients suffering from orthopedic conditions, sports medicine rehabilitation and pelvic floor physical therapy. Barbara and her husband have two children who keep them busy with their extracurricular activities. She enjoys watching and attending sporting events of all types and playing games with family and friends.

Katie earned her degree in physical therapy from Grand Valley State University in 2018. Through various opportunities in her professional career, Katie acquired skill and knowledge of manual therapy treatment, sport specific training, and orthopedic injury rehabilitation. Katie has extensive experience treating a wide range of diagnoses in the outpatient setting including orthopedic and sport injuries. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her dog, Murphy.

Kayla has been a physical therapy assistant for two and a half years after graduating from Baker College. She has worked with traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries with Hope network and the geriatric population at Laurels of Sandy Creek during her education at Baker. She loves meeting people from all walks of life and assisting them in achieving their goals. She enjoys exploring Michigan's wonders whether for a weekend or on a day off. She recently got married and moved to Kent City and looks forward to getting to know the community.

Ellen has been a member of NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2022 as a patient service specialist. She has been working in the medical field in patient services and billing for more than 20 years. Her experience has been in multiple settings such as family practice, ENT, eye care, pain management and physical therapy. She loves working with patients and helping them in their healing journey. Ellen has three children and now a grandson whom she loves spending time with.
