Kentwood East

Adam has been with our team for several years. He started in Kentucky and transitioned into two leadership roles. He leads our team in Kentwood and is a board-certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy. He earned a certificate in orthopedic manual therapy, completed a year of residency training in 2021 and is certified in dry needling. He earned a doctorate of physical therapy from Central Michigan University and bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Michigan State University. His clinical interest include orthopedics, return to sport and gait/running analysis. Adam enjoys IRONMAN triathlons, weightlifting, basketball and hiking.

Rob joined our team in 2023 and is returning after completing a clinical rotation with us while completing a doctorate of physical therapy at Western Michigan University. He earned a bachelor's degree in health science with a minor in exercise science from Oakland University in Rochester. During his undergraduate studies, he also coached high school football and completed the National Strength and Conditioning Association's examination to earn the title of certified strength and conditioning specialist. His clinical interests include orthopedics, athletics, metabolic testing and return to sport.

Maddie has been an athletic trainer with NovaCare since 2020. She is the head athletic trainer at East Kentwood High School. Maddie earned a bachelor's degree athletic training and played soccer at Albion College. She earned a master's degree in exercise and nutrition sciences at Lipscomb University. In June 2022, Maddie and her partner welcomed a beautiful baby girl into this world. Maddie loves to go hiking, camping and spending time outdoors.

Jacob joined the NovaCare team in 2023. He graduated with a master's degree in athletic training and bachelor's degree in exercise science emphasizing health and wellness from Grand Valley State University. Jacob competed in competitive rowing throughout his high school and undergraduate years and enjoys Jiu-Jitsu and weightlifting to stay in shape. He works with East Kentwood High School as an athletic trainer.
