Our Team

Kelly Gotberg, P.T., DPT

Kelly has been a member of the NovaCare Rehabilitation team since 2018 with 4 years of experience. She has worked in the outpatient orthopedic and aquatic settings. Kelly specializes in working with collegiate and high school athletes as well as treating patients who benefit from sports medicine, orthopedic and vestibular rehabilitation. Kelly completed her undergraduate degree in clinical exercise science and doctoral degree in physical therapy at Grand Valley State University. She also has certification and training in trigger point dry needling, blood flow restriction training and dorsa-vi 3D movement analysis.

Rob Gibson, P.T., DPT, CSCS

Rob joined our team in 2023 and is returning after completing a clinical rotation with us while completing a doctorate of physical therapy at Western Michigan University. He earned a bachelor's degree in health science with a minor in exercise science from Oakland University in Rochester. During his undergraduate studies, he also coached high school football and completed the National Strength and Conditioning Association's examination to earn the title of certified strength and conditioning specialist. His clinical interests include orthopedics, athletics, metabolic testing and return to sport.

Samantha Walsh, PTA

Samantha has been a member of the NovaCare Rehabilitation team since September 2023. She previously worked out of Fort Wayne, Indiana treating all outpatient orthopedics. She has worked primarily in the ortho population; however, she has a huge passion for pelvic health. Samantha obtained Level 1 certification for pelvic health through the American Physical Therapy Association in 2022. Samantha earned an associate and bachelor's degree while attending the University of Saint Francis from 2017-2021. Samantha previously was a collegiate athlete in women's basketball, but now enjoys staying active outside with her dog.

Hand Therapy

Our certified hand therapists (CHT) provide comprehensive and industry-leading treatment for hand, wrist, arm, elbow and shoulder injuries or conditions. Our team will work with you to create an individualized program to return you to work, life and athletics as soon as possible.

Pediatric Therapy

We offer multi-disciplinary, pediatric therapy services to help children reach developmental milestones and their full potential. Therapy methods are typically given in one-on-one sessions, using play-based activities to gain insight into how a child moves, thinks and expresses thoughts and emotions. Additional specialized programs, such as feeding therapy, sensory/emotional regulation, toe walking and torticollis, are also available. We are committed to providing an exceptional experience that enhances each child's participation in desired family, community and school activities.

When you need dedicated, sports-specific care, look to our Select Sports Centers of Excellence (COE). Our COE designation conveys the highest quality in sports medicine delivery. It's an endorsement of expertise in sports as a clinical practice.

In these centers, you'll work with specially trained, sports medicine physical therapists. Their advanced clinical skills and sports experience can help all levels of athletes.
