Our Team

Heather Roseman, P.T., DPT, CDNT, Center Manager

Heather earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology in 2010 from University of Maryland and doctorate of physical therapy in 2013 from Shenandoah University. Heather spent the first four years of her career working with a geriatric population, and joined NovaCare in 2017. Along with geriatrics, Heather specializes in dry needling, treating balance dysfunction and sports medicine. She is certified in the use of the dorsaVi system, a motion sensor system designed for biomechanical analysis of common athletic movements. Heather is an avid Terps fan and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.

Barbara Fischer, M.S., OTR/L

Barb earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Michigan State University in 1990, master's degree in special education and human services management from Western Maryland College in 1993 and a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from Towson University in 1996. She has been a member of our team since 2014 but has been working with upper extremity injuries since 1996. Her diverse background enables her to provide empathic, patient-centered care to people with a wide variety of upper extremity injuries. Barb enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage daughters.
