Rosedale

Sophie graduated with her bachelor's degree in biology from Stevenson University and then pursued her doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, Baltimore. She started her career in 2011 and began managing the Rosedale office in 2013. Now Sophie oversees 11 offices and is passionate about orthopedics, pain management and cancer rehabilitation. Sophie has also obtained certifications in dry needling and ReVital cancer rehabilitation. When she is not at work she loves, exploring new eats, reading fiction and road trips with her husband and 2 kids.

Ryan graduated from the University of Richmond with a bachelor's degree in biology and from the University of Delaware with a doctorate in physical therapy in 2009. He has been working for NovaCare since 2010, and at the Rosedale location since 2018. Ryan specializes in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine, with a special interest in hands-on therapy, shoulder, knee and spinal diagnoses and post-operative rehabilitation. Ryan earned board certification in 2015 as an orthopedic clinical specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. He is also certified in Graston Technique for instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization. He has experience in vestibular and concussion rehabilitation and balance and gait training. He has acted as the center coordinator of clinical education since 2015, placing physical therapy students at NovaCare centers in the Baltimore, MD region, and regular trains and educates students in the clinical setting as a clinical instructor.
