Havre de Grace

Dana obtained her master's of physical therapy education at Shenandoah University graduating in May 1997. She worked for NovaCare Rehabilitation in Bel Air and was promoted to multi-center manager overseeing 5 centers. She became the center coordinator of clinical education for Maryland and was clinical instructor of the year in 2014. Dana then pursued home health care, gaining knowledge of complex medical histories, and providing physical therapy treatment for various forms of cancer, post-hospitalization following dehydration, UTIs, falls, post-cardiac events and surgeries, post-surgical total knee replacements, total hip replacements and spinal surgeries and general deconditioned patients. In 2020, Dana returned to working for NovaCare Rehabilitation as the center manager of Havre de Grace, where she continues to work with the same outpatient orthopedic patient population as she did in the Perry Hall, MD facility. She obtained her ReVital cancer rehabilitation certification in 2021 and lymphedema certification in 2022.

Shanna obtained her master's degree in occupational therapy at Thomas Jefferson University in 2010. She then worked at the Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center during which she worked closely with leading hand surgeons and grew proficient with her splinting skills as well as treatment of multiple diagnoses from chronic tendinitis to fractures, amputations and acute injuries of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. She received her hand therapy specialty certification in 2015 and developed an interest in working with the Worker's Compensation population and performing functional capacity evaluations and ergonomics assessments. She now joins the NovaCare Rehabilitation team as of July 2022 where she brings her expertise in hand therapy to our Havre de Grace clinic and the surrounding areas.
