Our Team

Susan Rightnour, P.T., CFC, MTC

Susan earned a bachelor's degree in physical therapy from the University of MD Eastern Shore and master's degree in health science from the University of St. Augustine for health sciences. She is a certified cranio-facial therapist and certified manual therapist. Her treatment interests are in dysfunctions of the temporomandibular joint, cranio-mandibular system and conditions involving the head, neck, face and jaw, as well as headaches and migraines. By directly addressing myofascial pain and musculoskeletal dysfunctions in physical therapy through exercise, postural correction, education and advice to our patients, Susan is able to achieve positive outcomes for our patients.

Angela Pohl, DPT

Angela earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Spanish in 2004 from the University of Minnesota. She then earned her doctorate in physical therapy from Duke University in 2008. She is proficient in treating a variety of orthopaedic and neurological conditions, with special interests in sports medicine, post-operative recovery and vestibular rehabilitation. Angela participates in multiple continuing education courses each year and is currently certified in trigger point dry needling.

Olivia Portner, P.T., O.T.

Olivia earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and master's degree in occupational therapy from Georgia State University. Her treatment focus includes injuries and conditions related to the hand, wrist and elbow. She treats post-operative patients and is dedicated to expanding her knowledge of splinting and creative interventions to improve overall function of patients. In January 2022, she will begin a virtual hand fellowship lasting for one year to further her expertise in hand therapy evaluation and treatment. She also treats post-stroke neurological issues, prolonged illness following hospitalization and pediatric development delays. Olivia was born and raised in Annapolis and likes to spend time with family, friends and her dog, Sadie.
