Kevin Griggs, P.T., MPT, Multi-Site Manager
Kevin is a graduate of University of Findlay with a master's degree in physical therapy. He is originally from Murray ,KY where he earned an economics degree from Murray State University. Kevin has been with NovaCare since 2005 and at the Benton center since 2012. In 2018 he moved his family to Benton and along with his two Junior Rangers and is a proud supported of Ranger athletics. Kevin is a board certified orthopedic specialist and has extensive training in sports medicine from Philadelphia and the University of Cincinnati.
Colin Overstreet, P.T., DPT, OCS
Colin is a graduate of St. Louis University with his doctorate of physical therapy . He is from Mt. Vernon, IL where he lives with his wife. He is starting 10th year working at the Benton NovaCare office Colin is a board certified orthopedic specialist as well as a certified dry needling specialist.
Brian Frey, PTA
Brian is a graduate of Southern Illinois University's physical therapy assistant program. He is a former collegiate athlete with a life long interest in physical activity and healthy living. His areas of clinical interest include spinal and pelvic stabilization , balance training and management of chronic pain
Abby Moore, PTA
Abby earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science and physical therapy assistant degree from Southern Illinois University. She is from Metamora, IL and in 2014 received an athletic scholarship to play volleyball at SIU. Abby's background in sports has made her passionate about working with athletes and educating them on injury prevention and sport performance. Abby is involved in developing our Return to Play and ACL Prepare to Play programs. She lives in Carterville with her husband.
Elizabeth Roberts, PTA
Elizabeth is a proud graduate of Benton High School. She attended Kaskaskia College where she earned her physical therapy assistant degree in 2007. For the past 14 years she has worked in the Benton NovaCare facility. Elizabeth, along with her husband Rex and sons Hunter, Ryder and Roper, is a proud supporter of Benton Ranger athletics.
Jim Sargent, M.S., ATC, PTA
Jim earned his physical therapy assistant degree and athletic training degree from Southern Illinois University. In 1985 he received his national certification in athletic training and in 1996 his master's degree in healthcare administration. Over his 41 year career Jim has worked with some of the pioneer physicians of sports medicine including the team physicians for Georgia Tech, University of Florida and Jacksonville Jaguars. In 2017 he and his wife, Lyn, relocated back to Southern Illinois. He feels very fortunate to be working at NovaCare and is beginning his 6th year as the athletic trainer for the Benton Rangers.
Keeley Taylor, LMT
Keeley is a licensed massage therapist who holds advanced certification in prenatal and postnatal massage. She has been providing massage therapy services since 2019, and with NovaCare Rehabilitation since 2022. During that time, her therapy has helped people relieve the pain of injuries, stress, car accidents, sports injuries and body discomfort, as well as support good bodily and mental health. Keeley holds over 1,000 hours of training in multiple massage modalities she practices including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone massage, and several others. The patients she has worked with range from soon to be moms to high school and college athletes. Being at NovaCare gives her a unique insight as to how and why the body works the way it does and helps her educate patients on the benefits of massage as an adjunct, or in conjunction with, physical therapy.
