NovaCare Rehabilitation, formerly Blue Hen Physical Therapy, in Newark is an outpatient physical therapy that began in 2016. It is conveniently located minutes from University of Delaware and helps serve surrounding communities, as well as University of Delaware students.

Our Team

Troy Koch, P.T., DPT, CSCS

Troy is a sports medicine physical therapist who graduated with a bachelor's degree and doctorate in physical therapy from Widener University. He has worked with predominantly athletes across the lifespan participating in all sports. He has worked with all skill levels ranging from recreational to professional and Olympic caliber. He also assisted with the Philadelphia Union pre-season screening process. He loves working with active individuals, but has specialized in overhead athletes, gymnasts and barbell athletes. Troy has completed a strength and conditioning internship with Rob Rabena and uses these principles to properly treat \athletes and to modify training to keep patients participating throughout the rehabilitation process. Troy loves to lift weights, fish, golf, hike, kayak and anything that involves being out in the sun.

Bill Riskie, O.T.

Bill is an occupational therapist who graduated with a master's degree from Salus University. He previously spent five years working in mental health before developing a passion for not just the human psyche, but the human as a whole. This holistic interest led Bill to occupational therapy, where his passion for the upper extremity began. Bill has experience with a wide range of upper extremity injuries and neurological impairments. Bill is committed to being part of your team, which means he will be by your side every step of the way.

Dylan Zelenski, P.T., DPT

Dylan graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy from Slippery Rock University. He has worked in the outpatient orthopedic setting primarily treating active and athletic individuals. He has a strong interest in sports medicine and treats athletes with numerous sports-related injuries and post-surgical conditions at Goldey Beacom College. Dylan greatly enjoys using his creativity and critical thinking skills when treating patients to create the most individualized and effective programs to meet the specific demands of each sport. He also has experience treating concussions and completed the Concussion Comprehensive Assessment and Management training. Additionally, he has completed multiple continuing education courses on temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and successfully treated several patients with TMD. Dylan plans on becoming a board-certified sports specialist to further develop his skills with treating the athletic population.

Matt Johnson, P.T., DPT

Matthew earned a degree in kinesiology from Penn State University and doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Saint Augustine. Matthew, while at Penn State, had an internship with the head strength and conditioning coach in charge of all Olympic sports along with working closely with the Penn State women's soccer team. Matthew has a background in sports physical therapy and worked with the athletes at Lincoln University. He has worked with many athletes who span across all sports, but specializes in volleyball, basketball and soccer. Matthew is also an assistant volleyball coach for Ursuline Academy in Wilmington and Delaware Military Academy.

Elizabeth Jetter, P.T., DPT

Elizabeth earned a doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Delaware. She completed post-graduate training with Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, specializing in pelvic floor physical therapy. Elizabeth's treats pelvic and sexual pain, incontinence (leaking), urinary frequency, pre-natal/post-natal care, post-surgical care and other conditions affecting the core, low back and pelvis. Elizabeth also has experience and interest in treating balance conditions, falls, stroke recovery and Parkinson's, as well as standard orthopedic conditions. Elizabeth is committed to developing a customized, therapeutic relationship with each patient, taking into account the whole person. She employs an effective and functional approach to treatment, with an emphasis on patient education. Elizabeth enjoys exploring nature with her three young sons, learning, building, creating, writing and baking.
