NovaCare in Chicago specializes in Sports Medicine Physical Therapy and in providing work services to injured workers. Our physical therapists, occupational therapists and athletic trainers have the opportunity to work with every type of patient! We have clinicians that have specialized in Workers' Compensation, Marathon Training, Hand Therapy and in Spinal Treatment Techniques. Our clinicians are well trained and able to handle a wide variety of diagnoses. Our clinical team will work with you to schedule an appointment within 24 to 48 hours of your initial call to the center. Please utilize our web site to find the location closest to your home or home. We are preferred providers for most insurance plans. Center Activity

Onsite at DePaul University!

NovaCare Rehabilitation has been the official physical therapy provider for DePaul University for six years! We are responsible for providing physical therapy services to DePaul's athletes as well as athletic training services for a number of teams, including basketball. We are proud to be affiliated with the DePaul Big East Conference team!

Our onsite outpatient physical therapy center is located right on the DePaul University campus in the Ray Meyer Fitness and Recreation Center. The Ray Meyer Center has state-of-the-art equipment and is one of the largest Campus Recreation Centers in the country. The physical therapy center is in the middle of the Lincoln Park campus and is open to the public.

Running Contracts!
NovaCare is proud to be the official physical therapy provider for two of Chicago's largest running groups!

NovaCare has been the official physical therapy provider for The Chicago Area Runner's Association(CARA), Chicago's largest running association, since 2005. In addition NovaCare is the presenting sponsor for CARA's Lakefront 10 miler race held each April. NovaCare has helped thousands of runners through the Sports Injury Hotline (866-TRY-NOVA), lectures, and physical therapy treatment. We are always very excited to see our runners complete any race, from a 5k to The Chicago Marathon!

The AIDS Foundation of Chicago has organized TEAM TO END AIDS (T2EA) Endurance Training Program. NovaCare is proud to partner with T2EA. These runners are motivated by the dream of completing a marathon, half marathon, or triathlon and doing it for a great cause. Through the Sports Injury Hotline (866-TRY-NOVA), injury prevention clinics, injury screens, and physical therapy treatments, NovaCare is honored to help each and every runner achieve their goals.

Play Ball USA
We are proud to provide medical services for Play Ball USA. Play Ball USA is the area's premier indoor baseball and softball training facility focused on player assessment and development. Play Ball provides customized personal instruction to players of all ages and skill level, as well as team instruction. Play Ball has a select group of experienced instructors, from both professional and collegiate backgrounds, who share our passion and vision. In addition to developing athletes' skills, we emphasize the importance of having fun, building players' confidence, and teaching the game in a way that players can relate to and understand. Illinois State Soccer Association
NovaCare Rehabilitation and the Illinois State Soccer Association (ISSA) formed their partnership in 2008 that will provides ISSA players and team trainers with an easy link to top class injury prevention as well as access to NovaCare�s Injury Hotline. All player passes have information on how to contact NovaCare in the event of an injury during an ISSA game, team practice or tournament event. ISSA Leagues will benefit from being able to invite NovaCare athletic trainers to address their team managers and coaches at league meetings and provide them with information on injury prevention and basic immediate care in the event of certain injuries on the field. Symposiums on Sports Performance will also be incorporated into USASA Amateur Coaching License clinics.

Children's Memorial Marathon Training Team!
NovaCare is sponsoring the Children�s Memorial Marathon Team this year! The Children�s Memorial Marathon Team is a highly motivated group of runners who show their dedication to improving the lives of sick children and their families by raising funds for Children�s Memorial Hospital while training for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. Join the marathon team or sponsor a runner and demonstrate your own commitment to helping children reach their full potential.

Community Involvement

Sports Injury Hotline! NovaCare Rehabilitation provides a Sports Injury Hotline to all competitive and recreational athletes. Call (866)TRY-NOVA (879-6682)! A NovaCare Athletic Trainer will answer any of your questions or concerns related to the prevention or treatment of common athletic/running injuries.
