Center Activity
Onsite at DePaul University! NovaCare Rehabilitation has been the official physical therapy provider for DePaul University since 2003! We are responsible for providing physical therapy services to DePaul's athletes as well as athletic training services for a number of teams, including basketball. We are proud to be affiliated with the DePaul Big East Conference team! Our onsite outpatient physical therapy center is located right on the DePaul University Lincoln Park Campus in the Ray Meyer Fitness and Recreation Center. The Ray Meyer Center has state-of-the-art equipment and is one of the largest Campus Recreation Centers in the country. The physical therapy clinc is convenieltly located right in the middle of the Lincoln Park campus and is open to the public. Loyola University-Chicago-Go Ramblers! NovaCare is excited to announce that we are the Ramblers Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine providers. Rambler athletes will be treated by our very own Jamie Meyer, DPT, PT, center manager at our Andersonville clinic. We are happy to work with Loyola University Chicago and the Horizon League! University of Illinois at Chicago-UIC FLAMES! NovaCare is pleased to announce the exciting new partnership with the UIC Flames! NovaCare is the Official Sports Rehabilitation Provider for the UIC Flames. The Flames compete in the Horizon League along with the Loyola Ramblers. We are thrilled to be the new provider for the UIC Flames! Fire it up Flames!


Clinician Profile
Clinician Spotlight... Mary Poe, Occupational Therapist Practicing Since 1983 Mary is an Occupational Therapist for NovaCare Rehabilitation’s Alsip outpatient physical therapy center. She has achieved success in the treatment of hand therapy and industrial rehabilitation (FCE, WCE, work hardening, work conditioning, job analysis and ergonomic assessments). Mary earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Over the course of her career, Mary has completed numerous continuing education courses in a wide range of topics and has presented at conferences throughout Illinois on work injury prevention and management. Mary’s Vision: It is ultimately beneficial for the individual and society to rehabilitate people back to gainful employment as soon as possible.


Contracts
We are the official physical therapy provider for The Chicago Area Runner's Association(CARA), Chicago's largest running association, since 2005. In addition we are the presenting sponsor for CARA's Lakefront 10 miler race held each April. We have helped thousands of runners through the Sports Injury Hotline (866-TRY-NOVA), lectures and physical therapy treatment. We are always excited to see our runners complete any race, from a 5k to The Chicago Marathon!

Sports Injury Hotline! NovaCare Rehabilitation provides a Sports Injury Hotline to all competitive and recreational athletes. Call (866)TRY-NOVA (879-6682)! A NovaCare Athletic Trainer will answer any of your questions or concerns related to the prevention or treatment of common athletic/running injuries.
